Morgan Photography

Stuart Morgan has enjoyed photography since developing his first roll of black and white film and first set of prints in 1975. After using his photography skills in a variety of occupations over the next 30 years (but preferring to keep his current gig), Stuart launched this business on the side in 2005 to combine his love of travel with his longtime interest in outdoor photography.

Soon, his prints of the South Carolina Upstate, Midlands and Lowcountry attracted the interest of a fine art gallery and a design company in downtown Columbia. The gallery hosted his first show, and the design company ordered a series of Giclée (canvas) prints for a major corporation.

Encouraged, Stuart set out to build a stock photography collection of South Carolina subjects. After a bank hired him to shoot photos for its new headquarters in downtown Raleigh, this North Carolina native then decided to broaden his stock photography collection to include North Carolina subjects as well.

Stuart focuses on the Carolinas, but he shoots elsewhere whenever possible.

Today -- just seven years after launching his little photography business -- his customers include:  art collectors, banks, hospitals, law firms, design companies, restaurants, real estate companies and other businesses.

So far, Stuart has exhibited his work at the following locations in South Carolina:
